While the Associated Press story that hit most of the state newspapers was not entirely accurate, at least folks have an opportunity to find out that the case is ongoing, and that girls are still fighting for their reputations. One point of contention is that the writer from the AP gets the cyberbullying wrong. The other side of the suit is accused of cyberbullying, and a PARENT no less. The writer also claims that things were thrown out by the judge that were not. One of the ideals of this blog is to keep things honest and accurate.
Folks, while I have made numerous mistakes in my life, when I make an effort(seen by thousands so far) to tell you the truth, you can be sure that it is to the best of my ability. I am writing for myself mostly, as I have said in prior posts, but also trying to get out information that is otherwise only conjecture and gossip. The information is obtained mostly from sworn, publicly available documents. While I’m certain that no one wanted to go through years of legal battles, it became apparent that with the stance the defendants have taken, it could not have been avoided. One aspect of the AP story that I believe to be the most truth is that the dispute is bitter. Imagine yourselves, if you believe that you and your family have been wronged, defamed, laughed at, belittled, and then ignored. How would you feel? For me, my DNA will not allow me to sit idly by, and take that. I will continue to stand up for what I believe in, regardless if others like it or not. Stay tuned.

Why does the ostrich bury its head in the sand? I had the misfortune to attend a Crivitz School Board meeting last week. Public input is at the very beginning, so I had the opportunity to speak, and I took it to remind the board that I’m not happy that they’ve chosen to continue to keep their heads in the sand. I took the time to make copies of the latest (5) page briefs from my daughter’s attorney, as well as the school’s. Not surprisingly they did not have these. How can they claim their heads are not in the sand, when they don’t even have the paperwork that a stranger can get at the Oconto County Courthouse? $1.25 per page for this information, by the way. If anyone wants, please PM me, and I will send to you.
