Why does the ostrich bury its head in the sand? I had the misfortune to attend a Crivitz School Board meeting last week. Public input is at the very beginning, so I had the opportunity to speak, and I took it to remind the board that I’m not happy that they’ve chosen to continue to keep their heads in the sand. I took the time to make copies of the latest (5) page briefs from my daughter’s attorney, as well as the school’s. Not surprisingly they did not have these. How can they claim their heads are not in the sand, when they don’t even have the paperwork that a stranger can get at the Oconto County Courthouse? $1.25 per page for this information, by the way. If anyone wants, please PM me, and I will send to you.
So after I handed out the information to all board members, I relayed to the board my disappointment in how they treat children in Crivitz. I specifically looked at Pat Mans and asked him what they’ve done to help those girls. Did they offer counseling? No. Did they allow teachers to speak with them about the alleged event? No. Did they tell everyone that, indeed, no compromising pictures were ever found to clear up the girls’ reputations? No again! Do you see a pattern readers?
The Crivitz School District administrator went on a witch hunt, prompted by his good pal, and did not even allow witnesses who wanted to come forth to speak. The ostrich does not bury its head in the sand, because it is afraid, it does so to turn its eggs in the nest. The board convenes to a back room(nest) to keep turning things. This is what a couple members are doing, the rest are mushrooms. Please do not allow them to continue to do this. Don’t be an ostrich!
