Chicken Dinner With a Side Order of BS

A short story, because it’s summer, and we have better things to do. I went out for a chicken dinner and a cocktail last night. A person at the establishment did not realize that I was the father of one of the three girls suing the Damas and the School District of Crivitz. She proceeded to tell me how pissed off she would be if someone took compromising pictures of her daughter, and how those girls were such bullies to Sophie Dama. She also said that they have been out of school for a while, and should just let it go. I proceeded to ask her if she or anyone else she knew had seen these so called “pictures”. She of course, had not, because none exist, as was proven by police forensic studies, and by the Athletic Director at Crivitz High School. I also asked her if someone ruined her reputation, and last two years of high school, would that be okay.

I did offer her some actual evidence, which the Damas have none. I told her to take a look at the video showing that Sophie lied when she told a teacher that the girls kicked her crutches down the hall. An actual video, not some alleged one. Lies is all that family has to offer. Why go to places, and spread lies, when you and I, and almost everyone else knows the truth?? The truth is what the police officer you requested(who verbally assaulted them without me in the room) said under oath, “It looked like girls being girls okay!” This is not he said she said! Those kids have all the proof and you have NONE, so do yourselves a favor and SHUT UP! Don’t go around playing the victims. You created this mess, and are too arrogant to do the right thing. Stay Tuned!

The Interweb: Part Deux

It seems funny to me that 2 weeks after The Interweb was re-blogged that Crivitz School decided to reach out to the newspapers to tell readers about the “high marks” they are receiving. This is actually one source. If you hearken back to the original The Interweb blog, it references many sources that claim they are not highly ranked. In fact, if you look at the site they reference in the article, only one out of 4 kids in Crivitz High School are ready for college. That’s a bit higher than other sources. My research had indicated only 17% were college ready. That doesn’t seem too hot. Another site rates them a 5 out of 10. SchoolDigger.com rates them 300th out of 407 in the state!!

I would think the district would get their house in order before touting exactly ONE source that says they’re decent. I do see that after claiming a website that a Crivitz resident had for 5 years they are trying to optimize their search engine rankings to rid themselves of the negative press. With the culture that exists, I believe a media campaign might just be a waste of time. Who knows? Stay tuned!
